We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and assess underlying Compliance & Regulatory risks, to provide advice and solutions/controls to address related Compliance & Risk concerns. The new role will assist in the setting up of new regional and local Compliance frameworks and controls as well as review and enhanced established policies and procedures.

What you will do:
  • Be the subject matter expert on Compliance-related and internal control matters, including but not limited to topics on regulatory, licensing, AML-CFT, risk-assessment, vendor reviews, business continuity, etc
  • Provide practical compliance advice to the Group, covering but not limited to the business activities across the different entities and units
  • Participate in the inception and implementation of cross-functional solutions/products and ensure that the entities/businesses fully comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal requirements
  • Regular review and revision/setup of compliance manuals, policies, procedures, frameworks, and systems to keep abreast of regulatory changes/requirements
  • Hands-on managing of regulatory and licensing requests/inquiries in a proper and timely manner
  • Own and lead the Compliance-portion of KYC/AML/CFT processes and provide secondary validation and approval of the onboarding of customers
  • Guide the entities/business units on Compliance-owned/led internal control processes such as RCSA, Vendor assessment, business continuity, etc.
  • Provide guidance to junior member on Compliance matters
  • Promote compliance-awareness through regular training and dialogue sessions
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as assigned
  • Assist and advise Senior Management on Compliance matters, including but not limited to regulatory/licensing, AML/CFT and Compliance-owned internal control matters
Requirements

What we are looking for:
  • 8 years relevant of working experience in handling both general and complicated compliance issues
  • Solid knowledge of Asean regulations, market practices, and financial products
Self-motivated, able to work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills * Experience in the execution of Operational Risk topics
  • Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or above
  • CAMS Certification or similar
