Cross product coverage among CMPS Group Product Management team including Cash Equities, FX, Rates, Commodities & OTC Derivatives, Fixed Income and Structured Products
Strategy
Awareness and understanding of the business strategy for the relevant department(s) [such as Wealth Management/CMPS and Business Banking Segment] and model appropriately to the role
Business
The incumbent will work closely with Senior Executives, Relationship Managers, Specialist Sales Teams and stakeholders for Commercial Private and Business Banking Segment and Wealth Management / CMPS to identify business opportunities and drive/deliver on initiatives for the Bank. They shall play a key role in helping the client segments identify leads in the existing portfolio and be a key input in their client acquisition strategies. Together with the resources in-country, crystallise these leads into product sales.
Pro-active sales & product management for the relevant product set for CMPS and Business Banking
Close tracking of actual performance versus plan and implement remedial actions (when needed)
Together with the segments, develop sales management programmes to increase wallet share and product penetration. The programmes are to be tracked at the appropriate levels of management
Develop a vibrant sales culture of meeting client needs
Awareness and understanding of digital channels to help further the digital strategies
Ensure good governance on sales activities and staff conduct together with the CMPS heads in the geographies
Assume Thought Leadership on all facets of CMPS sales and product management
Embrace the One Bank business initiatives in identifying opportunities within CMPS that could tap on FM\'s capabilities
Processes
Develop processes and systems to ensure delivery of best-in-class products and services crystallized through segment led value proposition.
Develop standards and policies with respect to product providers, third party investment products sold through the SCB network and processes controlling the sale of products to all customer segments.
Through the CMPS Product Governance and related forums, ensure that there is adequate and appropriate infrastructure to support the client proposition

Embed a risk culture that supports the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategy and philosophy for the management of risk
Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder\xe2\x80\x99s attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the relevant Risk Committees
Work closely together with various risk owners to ensure the product offering complies with the regulatory and risk governance frameworks

Have strong risk governance mindset on all capital market products activities across segments and geographies. This will include developing, reviewing policies and global standards in processes, documentation and controls with a view to substantially scale up the business

Preferably a graduate degree in Finance
5 + years experience in Banking / Client Segment / Financial Markets and/or Product Management.
General knowledge of operational/tax/risk/regulatory/legal and compliance issues.
