WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The objective of this position is to serve as the primary advisor and controller for all mandates governing investment assets across AIA Group, ensuring that all new mandates or amendments to existing mandates are centrally administered, are in adherence with the Group-wide requirements with respect to the mandate format, definitions, application of Dynamic Strategic Asset Allocation (\xe2\x80\x9cDSAA\xe2\x80\x9d) and investment asset architecture. The incumbent would also take the role as primary coordinator within AIA Investment for ensuring all new mandates or amendments to existing mandates are applied within the AIA Investment Operational Control environment.

• Thought leadership, ideation and substantial hands-on contribution to the shaping and ongoing development of AIA\xe2\x80\x99s Investment Asset Architecture by facilitating the continued structuring of AIA Business Unit assets into Funds, Sub-Funds, Investment Portfolio and Sub-Portfolios as formalized and governed by mandate.

• Serve as the primary collaborator with the Investment Consultancy Unit (\xe2\x80\x9cICU\xe2\x80\x9d) to ensure DSAA is effectively documented within Asset Mandates and appropriate governance us applied for the enterprise-wide implementation of DSAA through Asset Mandates.

• Providing advice on the drafting of Asset Mandates and Portfolio Mandates and oversight and control of the mandate and composite data inputted and stored within Microsoft Power Platform.

• Overseeing the effective application of Reference Indexes and Portfolio Benchmark Indexes within mandates and coordinating with the Group Investment Middle Office and Investment Consultancy Unit with respect to the application of indexes to support pre-trade analytics, pre-trade controls, post-trade monitoring and post-trade reporting.

• Coordinating with the Data Management Office and Group Middle Office to ensure mandate and composite data deployed into the AIA Investment IBOR for supporting investment analytics and reporting.

• Providing ongoing input to the AIA Investment Governance Framework (\xe2\x80\x9cIGF\xe2\x80\x9d), specifically in relation to the AIA Investment Standards on Mandates and AIA Asset Hierarchy, so as to facilitate the IGF\xe2\x80\x99s continuous improvement in support of AIA\xe2\x80\x99s strategic goals;

• Acting as an advocate for the IGF with respect to Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit functions in support of monitoring, assurance and audit within the three lines of defense approach to risk management;

• Support the development and ongoing requirements of the SICAV Funds Platform, specifically with regards to ensuring that robust controls and monitoring are applied on the investment objectives, guidelines and restrictions set out in the prospectus or as required under applicable laws to meet internal and regulatory (Luxembourg\xe2\x80\x99s and other relevant regulators\xe2\x80\x99) requirements.

• Managing interactions with stakeholders outside AIA Investment to achieve the above, including efficient, robust and demonstrable monitoring, assurance and audit activities given such architecture is integrated and intertwined with the overarching controls and governance architecture(s) designed and administered by Group Risk & Compliance, Group Finance and Group IT;

• Promoting the ongoing enhancement of AIA\xe2\x80\x99s culture regarding governance, risk and compliance with respect to the AIA Investment Operating Model; and

• Providing support on projects and initiatives as requested by the Head of IAI COE from time to time.
