We invite highly motivated and dynamic professionals with relevant experience to join our Infratech and Projects Advisory practice.

KPMG\'s Infrastructure Advisory team is recognized as one of the leading advisors for infrastructure projects. The team provides advisory services across the lifecycle of infrastructure assets for public, private, and multilateral clients in all major infrastructure sub-sectors with a geographical focus in SEA, Middle East, and APAC. In Singapore office, our advisory service offerings are organized into three focus practices:


  • Energy & Utilities (E&U)
  • Transport & Mobility (T&M)
  • Infratech and Projects Advisory (IPA)


Major capital portfolios, programs, and projects are often complicated, fast-paced, and carried out in an environment prone to fraud, uncertainty, and waste. Stakeholders are demanding transparency, predictability, and accountability for project results.

Infratech and Projects Advisory (IPA) assists clients with infrastructure planning and design, procurement and implementation strategy, technology strategy, digital transformation, governance & process controls, PMO setup & oversight, risk and maturity assessments, and performance improvement. We work with clients that are embarking on complex infrastructure projects, or infrastructure owners that are looking to optimize the value of their assets. Through innovation, we are at the forefront of combining engineering and technology to deliver sustainable and impactful results to our clients.

Our team consists of multidisciplined professionals with diverse experience and backgrounds in infrastructure projects. We support the region\'s infrastructure owners, both the public and private sectors, in navigating the complexity and unlocking value from their assets. As a team, we are passionate about delivering the best outcomes for our clients.




The role involves:
  • Project and Engagement Delivery
    • Leading project delivery and advisory mandates with a portfolio of assignments (for Manager and Associate Director candidates)
    • Producing key project outputs and artifacts- e.g., project plan, requirement specification document, preparation of request for information lists, landscape assessment analysis, use case development, technology use cases, cost estimates, preparation of project blueprints, terms of reference, and specifications.
    • Providing strategic, operational, and financial advice spanning the lifecycle of infrastructure projects to major corporates, public sector entities, and infrastructure funds; service offerings of the team include the likes of:
      • digital landscape assessment
      • developing justifications for technology selection
      • conducting feasibility assessment of emerging technologies
      • digital maturity assessment
      • digital strategy and roadmap development
    • Support on project/ engagement management, client communication
    • Liaising with other business units and member firms of KPMG member firms
  • Business Development (with emphasis for Manager and Associate Director candidates)
    • Independently develop opportunities and build a portfolio of opportunities/projects for the team
    • Independently lead the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients
    • Support senior management and leadership in developing thought leadership in new business areas

Requirements

For Manager and Associate Director:
  • At least 5-8 years of working experience in an infrastructure project or with an infrastructure owner/ asset/utility management company
  • Experience in any infrastructure domain in Singapore and Southeast Asia; with a clear appreciation of the industry setting and participants
  • Strong client and relationship-building skills;
  • Result-oriented approach with hands-on execution capability;
  • Ability to manage and mentor staff on engagements, and providing on the job training and knowledge sharing;

For all candidates:
  • At least 3 years of working experience in an infrastructure project or with an infrastructure owner/ asset management company
  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in engineering, technology management, digital transformation, project management, real estate, or a related field from an accredited college/university
  • Experience in leveraging emerging technologies like IIoT, AI, ML, Cloud, Drones, and Automation in an infrastructure project.
  • Professional qualification or working towards a professional qualification will be an added advantage (PE, PEng, CEng, PMP, etc);
  • Hands-on experience using various tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Experience in performing data analysis and visualization using SQL, Python, Power BI, QlikSense, and Tableau applications will be beneficial
  • Strong cultural awareness to work in teams and groups; and
  • Willing to travel within ASEAN region on client engagements;
  • Be a self-motivated, confident individual, confident in interacting with senior team members and clients
  • Possess superior writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in any regional language(s) will be an added advantage
