The Role:

Based in Singapore, this role will lead and drive AC Power Distribution product portfolio business (E+I), with a clear focus of E+I Busway and Switchboard solution for the critical infrastructure in Rest Of Asia (ROA) Region.

The incumbent will develop ROA technical capability and Vertiv expertise in the space and develop the business. At the initial stage, there will be some focus on coordination with factories and engineering to support presales to post-sales support to customer.

Progressively, the incumbent will build a compelling strategy to grow our E&I business 2x in the region in 4 years and eventually establish Vertiv a leader as AC Power distribution solution provider in Data Center & Commercial Industrial space.

You shall:

• Support customers and the sales team in pre-sales application engineering support with help of factory
• Collaborate with consultants and customers to hard spec Vertiv/E+I to differentiate ourselves from competition
• Develop Application engineering, proposal building team and post sales project management support capability in the region
• Understand market size, have market studies, collecting Voice of Customers, market requirements, and work with engineering to develop winning product and solutions
• Enable sales team so that the team can effectively pitch to the client
• Create Competitive strategy and position our products in the market
• Support technical queries and work with vendors/partners to provide full solutions to customer
• Help sales team to technically present to customer
• Ccreate and develop the organization within the matrix structure that is best suited to grow the business
• Review the funnel with sales and present/ forecast E&I products to manufacturing entity

You have:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical engineering, preferably with experience of working in data centre/critical infrastructure field
• 10+ years of experience in electrical power distribution market in SEA/NA, ANZ
• Knowledge in busbar trunking system good to have
• 7+ years of working knowledge of critical switchboard power distribution products
