Role Responsibilities

This role is to support the management of the CCIB Investment Portfolio. The incumbent will:

  • Bed down new agile processes, control standards and frameworks.
  • Run day-to-day activities of portfolio management, which include but not limited to investment costs management, financial reviews, analytics and reporting, governance assurance and health checks.
  • Conduct first level of QA on inputs coming in from PMs and PMOs.
  • Drive the transformation to ways of working for CCIB.
  • Participate in design work for ways of working.
Processes
Impediments, Blockers, Assumptions & Dependency Management
  • Ensure top impediments and blockers are proactively identified, managed and reported across the portfolio.
  • Identify projects reporting red status and help to bring them back on track. Escalate impediments and blockers which need intervention.
  • Identify and help manage critical path and portfolio / program level dependencies to support decision making and tracking. Work with relevant teams to ensure effective collaboration and insight into dependency.
Quality Management
  • Conduct quality reviews of key QPR/MPR submissions ensuring they are high quality and submitted on time.
  • Schedule and conduct health check reviews of QPR, MPR and Refinement Forums.
  • Ensure agile deliveries/project artefacts are properly documented and protected / controlled, in appropriate document repositories, and all minimum standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure the Governance, Operational Risk and CJMS Assurance Frameworks are understood by the forums and investment teams to ensure the minimum standards are adhered to.
People & Talent
  • Plan and coordinate training & communication events collaborate with a variety of SMEs to deliver quality training and communications.
Governance
  • Support the CCIB Portfolio and Transformation Team in setting up an appropriate governance and reporting structure, tracking and reporting key go live milestones, major dependencies and performance metrics including the health, risks and issues impacting the portfolio.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 6+ years of experience with PMO, PMS, Agile methodologies, Human Centred Design and A3\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Proficiency in using collaboration tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Mural and reporting tools Tableau, Clarity, JIRA and Planview.
  • Proven ability to prioritise issues within a large, rapidly changing environment and manage a wide variety / high volume of tasks while maintaining quality delivery.
  • Understands the operational environment, processes and controls needed to execute requirements. Handles sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate interactions with Internal and External stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to positively influence stakeholders across value chain to both orchestrate and execute on processes and deliver exceptional client service and experience.
  • Relevant qualification in Project / Programme Management preferred (e.g. CSM, PSM1, CAPM, PMP)
  • Good understanding of Financial data and being able to derive insights
