Make an Impact by:

Regional Technical - Network Cost Management

  • Leverage Group synergies to achieve cost leadership for network solutions and products, while providing support to Singtel Regional Associates.
  • Manage regional cost management activities to cater to requests from Singtel Group and Associates, including undertaking price benchmarking and producing analysis reports for various Network domains. Monitor and quantify cost savings for the Group.
  • Support price benchmarking and analysis for various Network domains within Singtel Group and Associates.
  • Provide on-site support and guidance to Associates for network tenders, including tender evaluation (technical and commercial aspects), as well as supporting negotiations.
  • Establish and share knowledge gained across various network products/solutions with Singtel Group and Associates to ensure future-proofing of near-term capital expenditures and optimization of network investments.
  • Facilitate effective price mechanisms and share best practices within Singtel Group and Associates.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to Singtel International Group Business for matters related to Associates.
-Regional Technical - Planning & Support
  • Drive regional collaboration through a technical working group for Singtel Associates, focusing on the following areas:
  • Standardization and alignment of network planning principles, architecture, and products to effectively manage capital and operational expenditures.
  • Improving network planning efficiency, supporting the adoption of emerging technologies, new products, capabilities, and knowledge transfer.
  • Providing extended support on operational matters and acting as a technical subject matter expert (SME).
  • Update and track Associates\' spectrum holdings, support spectrum auctions, and conduct spectrum price benchmarking.
  • Track Group vendors spending, keep abreast of technology roadmap and vendor risk management.
  • Collaborate with Associates, Vendors, Bridge Alliance, GSMA, and industry experts i.e on new and emerging technologies, technology trends, and new products/solutions.
  • Program manage TST digital platform proof-of-concept (POC), trials, and development.
  • Willingness to undertake short-term or long-term assignments within Singtel Associate
Skills for Success:
  • Engineering degree in Electrical & Electronics, or Telecommunication or other related.
  • 10-12 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with a focus on mobile network planning, project management and operations.
  • Working knowledge and experience in telecommunication networks, including RAN network, Core network, transport network, etc.
  • Exposure or experience in developing, managing, and evaluating the technical and commercial aspects of RFP/Tender specifications.
  • Experience in mobile network planning, dimensioning, and operations, as well as familiarity with vendor solutions, products, and equipment.
  • Good understanding of the telecom operator\'s business situation, market trends, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong rapport and collaborative working relationships at all levels.
  • Capable of working independently, taking a hands-on approach, and demonstrating flexibility in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player and self-starter.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate to locations where our Singtel Group Associates operate, as needed.
  • Culturally sensitive when working and interacting with foreign Associates/partners.
  • Proactive in acquiring new knowledge and technical expertise required for the job.
  • Proficient in producing and delivering presentations and business analysis reports, with excellent presentation and communication skills. Competent in planning and organizing forums.
