The Role Based in Singapore, this role will be working as part of our global team of risk consultants, actuaries and engineers. The role willl be focusing on developing new business, and leading the delivery of actuarial model-based insurance optimisation and captive optimisation advice to a wide range of corporate clients in South East Asia. You will also manage a small team of colleagues. Above all, you will be hungry to continue to grow your existing business development and client facing capabilities. You will also have the innovation and problem solving abilities that are regularly required to design bespoke risk consulting solutions and models for our clients. This role offers a highly stimulating, internationally-focused opportunity to stretch your business development, project leadership, actuarial and management skills. Requirements Qualified actuary (to UK standard preferred) with at least five years post qualification experience. At least three years proven record of new business development. Strong, persuasive, client facing communication skills. Able to demonstrate experience of designing and building actuarial loss forecast models for non-life insurance risks such as property and liability. Capital modelling and reserving experience would also be desirable. Spoken and written English must be at native speaker level. Experienced in preparing and presenting results and recommendations reports in clear, simple, actionable language. Excellent PowerPoint skills and attention to detail are essential. A natural team player and ready to do whatever it takes to deliver high quality services to our clients, on time. Travel on a regular basis to meet with new and existing clients.
