Role: Associate, Distribution - Trade Finance

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual with 2-5 years of experience in trade finance operations, middle office, or distribution teams who is keen to transition into a front-office sales and execution role. The focus will be managing a portfolio of existing institutional investors, including hedge funds, financial sponsors, and trade banks, while supporting deal execution and relationship management. What you will be doing:

Managing funders:

Manage funders relationships and close financing facilities for Olea which will give the platform access to committed liquidity. Build marketing materials to engage funders with insightful conversations. Synthesize and relay investor feedback to the Commercial - Origination team to ensure more targeted deals. Act as the primary point of contact for post-transaction servicing, including portfolio updates and issue resolution.

2) Support end-to-end execution of distribution opportunities:

Support all aspects of deal execution from due diligence, commercial negotiation, and legal documentation to tech/ operational setup, including mutual onboarding. Work closely with internal teams (Structuring, Legal, Tech) to ensure smooth transaction flow. Service funders, by rallying relevant Olea teams where necessary, through the post-transaction cycle including programme modifications, investment events, complaints handling, etc.

What you need to be successful in the role:

At least 2-5 years of experience in a similar capacity i.e., trade finance origination / operations/ distribution/ syndication/platform partnerships.

Experience in the commercial department of a bank trade finance department, with a trade finance asset manager or a trade finance platform would be preferred

Good technical knowledge in Trade Finance, especially in SCF, open account trade, structured trade finance, commodity finance Expertise or strong familiarity with middle office or operations processes in trade finance

Intense attention to details
