Associate Engineer (network Operations Centre) [training Provided]
Job Description
This position is responsible for day-to-day ground operation of NOC (Network Operation Centre). - Attend to escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform daily SOC (Security Operations Centre) and IT monitoring duties.
- Manage and respond to facility and security alarms.
- Timely response to incidents/ breaches within Central Office.
- Assist with 24/7 NOC phone line and emails.
- Assist with cable diversion related queries and notifications towards RLs.
- Perform fibre network monitoring and fault management.
- Manage network outage notifications to customers.
- Coordination of operation activities.
- Layer 1 (fibre optic) network analysis and troubleshooting.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by supervisors. Requirements - Knowledge of GPON technology, Fibre
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Proficient in task tracking and reporting
- Possess strong analytical skill and has a flair for dealing with technical and operational problems
