Timely provision of legal advice and guidance for all legal matters such as interpreting agreements with project partners and subcontractors, identifying legal issues and risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Handle expense claims for management, maintain files and documentation.
Advising senior management and other departments on the legal implications of business decisions and maintaining communication with key stakeholders.
Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for the Singapore Sports Hub\'s operations, including technology agreements, supplier agreements, design and build agreements, facility management agreements, venue infrastructure agreements, event-related contract.
Handling corporate and company secretarial matters
Handling assignments delegated by the General Counsel, which may include conducting or assisting with investigations, compliance audits/reviews, undertaking special projects for business transformation and growth, and managing tools utilized by the Legal, Risk & Compliance department
Other general in-house activities encompass managing disputes and dispute resolution processes, overseeing company policies, risk, and compliance, and providing legal advice on data protection, anti-bribery and corruption, regulatory compliance, insurance
Requirement
Bachelor\'s degree in Law from a Singaporean or another Common Law jurisdiction
10 years of experience practicing law, with a preference for backgrounds in corporate, construction, estate/venue management, and sports & entertainment law.
A collaborative team player, adept at working interactively within legal teams dealing with shared projects or issues.
In-house legal experience is advantageous.
Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role is preferred.
Possesses a strong commercial mindset and excellent drafting and communication abilities.
Hands-on experience in corporate secretariat matters.
