About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage, and run Firewalls, IPS, anti-DDoS & Cloud WAF solutions, Encryption tool and APT solutions.
  • Ensure adequate support and maintenance of security devices, with vendor support.
  • Conduct regular User Account/Access and Firewall Rule reviews either via tools or manual processes.
  • Monitor and timely response to firewall rule monitoring and management.
  • Responsible for backup and restoration, disaster recovery management of security devices
  • Review, consult and propose best ways to secure company-wide IT infrastructure, network infrastructures.
  • Implement, manage, and run Privileged Access Management tools that provides secured access, direct or via jump hosts, and to conduct periodical activity monitoring and logging.
  • Monitor, investigate and timely respond to external intrusions, attacks, and hacks.
  • Implement/build-in security systems to software, hardware, and components.
  • Close off identified security vulnerability, provide mitigating control at perimeter defense in the case of an attack.
  • Work with team members and Security vendors in threat hunting, identify cyber-attacks and maintain continuous improvement efforts in security toolset management.
  • Handle other security related operations and tasks as and when required by management
What You Need To Have:
  • Degree/Diploma holder preferably in relevant disciplines such as Information Technology, Information Security or Computer Science
  • 1-3 years of relevant Cybersecurity experience as following would be preferred
  • Implement, manage, and operationally support industry known Firewall technologies.
  • Critical thinking skills, problem solving aptitude.
  • Support IPS, anti-DDoS & Cloud WAF solutions, Encryption tool and APT solutions.
  • Strong IT skills including knowledge on hardware, software, networks, data centres and Cloud services
  • Compliance knowledge in User Access and Rule review/recertification
  • Implement, manage, and run Privileged Access Management tools
  • Forensic approach to challenges; ability to think like a hacker and anticipate hacker moves
  • Desire to self-educate on the ever-changing landscape of cybersecurity
