Working Hours
\xc2\xb7 5 Days (Mon to Mon: 9.00am to 6.00pm / 8.30am to 5.30pm / 8.00am to 5.00pm)*
*Temp staff must be willing to work on some weekends and the hours can be claimed on weekdays
Offered Salary
- S$2,600 per month
\xc2\xb7 Degree holder in Humanities field
\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Microsoft software, children books and have experience with children
\xc2\xb7 Proficient in English
1. Facilitate Programmes and events
\xc2\xb7 To support the KidsREAD team on training sessions, club programmes, children and volunteer events, oversee administration and logistics arrangement of each as well as execution. This would include giving presentations to our volunteers.
\xc2\xb7 To liaise with kidsREAD club coordinators on arranging kidsREAD events and programmes.
2. Managing kidsREAD Clubs
\xc2\xb7 To be in charge of kidsREAD clubs, updating the clubs on kidsREAD matters and visiting them where necessary. To have tactful skill to manage relationships with volunteers and their queries.
3. Content Creation
\xc2\xb7 To do content development for the kidsREAD curriculum by coming up with activities suitable for children in reading and writing. To write out lesson plans to describe the activities and to select picture books for the curriculum.
4. Working with Vendors
\xc2\xb7 To liaise with vendors on arranging kidsREAD events and prograammes. To be able to manage the vendors by achieving the project expectations and timeline.
5. Procurement
\xc2\xb7 Manage simple procurement for kidsREAD events and programmes.
