Job Description


GYK is a professional services firm with more than 40 years of presence in Singapore and APAC. As a firm, GYK focuses on Audit, Tax, Corporate Secretary, Consulting and M&A across APAC region. Our risk consulting team helps clients to analyse, assess and address a wide range of issues by providing insights and deep dive analysis which is invaluable in today's high-risk business environment. We also help to implement and review systems or business processes and ensure third-party providers are working as expected in managing and controlling their existing and future financial regulatory risk.

Our risk consulting service offerings include: Risk, Regulation & Compliance, Governance, Risk & Controls.

We are currently looking for an Associate with up to 4 years of experience to join us. Fresh graduate can apply too.

Responsibilities

You will provide support to our risk consulting professionals to deliver our services to clients in a wide range of industries (which include but are not limited to semi-conductor, hospitality and retail management, food & beverage, commodities and financial services). The above include challenging and varied assignments that cover the following different types of risk consulting work:

  • Internal Controls and SOX Internal Audit
  • Risk Transformation Projects
  • Enterprise Risk Management advisory
  • Special Audits (i.e. GTO or Grant Certification Audit)
  • Regulatory Compliance advisory
Note: When not deployed on risk consulting work, you may also be deployed, on a short-term basis, to support other topics in accounting, tax and corporate services to hone your overall skill sets for staff augmentation and development purposes.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or other equivalent qualifications
  • High sense of responsibility.
  • Strong logical & analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in speaking and writing for both English & Mandarin (Able to liaise with Mandarin speaking external stakeholders).
  • Good in self planning and imitative driven
  • Some basic knowledge of internal control concepts and internal audit techniques will be a plus
  • Strong application knowledge in MS Office such as Excel, Words, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Able to do basic Excel coding and VBA.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Team player and keen learner
