Your role will be crucial in shaping our communications strategy and elevating our brand presence.As an Associate Manager/Manager (Communications & Corporate Affairs), you\'ll adapt quickly, write daily, and engage frequently with media and other stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs, you\'ll proactively showcase our expertise to local and international media and industry players through various platforms, creating and communicating thought leadership content across multiple channels. This role provides broad exposure to media, thought leadership, brand enhancement, leadership communications, strategic partnerships, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.Responsibilities:

  • External Communications Strategy and Content Creation: Support the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with the firm\'s goals. Create high-quality, original content on diverse topics, while anticipating issues and providing strategic solutions. Ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong media relationships, manage PR initiatives, and engage proactively with media to secure coverage and support crisis communication efforts.
  • Thought Leadership and Leadership Communications: Oversee the creation and localisation of thought leadership content and profiles for firm leaders, leveraging various channels to reach target audiences and stakeholders.
  • Brand and Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the firm\'s brand, support the establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships, and manage partnership communications and relationships to advance KPMG\'s strategic priorities with consistent messaging.
  • Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG): Support the communication of ESG initiatives, showcasing the firm\'s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, working in concert with Our Impact Plan (OIP) teammates who sit within Corporate Affairs.
\xe2\xa0\x80Qualifications:
  • A driven and energetic individual with a Bachelor\'s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years (Associate Manager) or 8+ years (Manager) of communications experience, ideally in a large company or MNC.
  • Strong media relations skills with a keen sense of news angles and capabilities to create strategic and analytical content.
  • Strong initiative, excellent follow-through, attention to detail, and a high sense of urgency.
  • Results-oriented; takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality work and effectively conveying its value.
  • Excellent writing and editing abilities across diverse topics, including ESG.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to build relationships across business units and functional areas, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
