Job Description

What the role is:You will be part of a dynamic team who carries out communications and engagement functions to ensure effective and timely communications of MOF\'s policies and initiatives, thereby facilitating the achievement of MOF\'s corporate objectives and mission.What you will be working on:

• Develop strategic communications plans across communications and engagement platforms. \xe2\x80\xa2 Execute strategic communications efforts, including media publicity planning, media management, issues management and social media, to create awareness, understanding and appreciation of MOF policies and initiatives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Part of the team to work on media publicity efforts for Singapore Budget. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with internal and external stakeholders on the execution of plans.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary education in Mass Communications / Communications and New Media or related field \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 2 years\' experience in media management roles \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in developing and implementing strategic communications plans for platforms including media \xe2\x80\xa2 A keen interest in and strong awareness of current affairs and national issues \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-motivated and meticulous, with ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment and with tight deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Team player with strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and project management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good command of the English language with strong written and verbal communications skills
