Search is on for creative tech savvy Engineers to join Dyson\'s Verification Test Engineering Team in Southeast Asia, expanding to keep pace with Dyson\'s ambition for incremental growth in product categories and product range.

The right candidate can be excited with prospects of being able to develop, in conjunction with Research & Development and/or Technology Partners, Verification Test Strategies that drive delivery of new, unique, robust and high-quality products to consumers.

About you

Analyze design specifications and designing Verification and Validation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, relevant EMI/EMC, FDA, GMP, ISO 13485 standards, recommending best practices with regards to:

  • Verification asset design, development & qualification
  • Configuration Control
  • Verification Iterations
  • Definition of appropriate Test Sample Sizes
  • Maintenance of traceability among various level of requirements, test protocol/script, test report/record
Develop Test Resource Strategies required to deliver against plans developed, identifying and prioritizing, the need for key test facilities, equipment, apparatus, people resources, etc. and recommending the need to engage with external test agencies, where necessary.

Engage upstream of Product Development processes to facilitate interrogation and development of:
  • Product Requirements Document(s) (PRD)
  • Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
  • Defined Product User and Usage Profiles
and driving necessary updates.

Consolidate, for outward reporting, test readiness, test progress and test reports to Project Stakeholders, highlighting Risks to Project Delivery
  • Lead efforts with Issue Management, coordinating Failure Investigations and definition of Closed Loop Corrective Actions, where necessary.
Coordinate Certification Authority Audits, engaging with System Engineers, Design Engineers and Compliance & Regulatory Specialists to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.

Engage with technology partners to drive continuous improvement to designs, verification plans and/or test methodologies, to best prevent, reduce, and/or find bugs sooner, more easily, or more reliably.

About you

Bachelor\'s Degree in Life Sciences and/or Engineering

Minimum 6 to 8 years\' experience working in an ISO certified company, with proven experience designing and executing Developmental, Verification and Validation test procedures / processes for Life Sciences Industry preferred.
  • Experience in establishing the company\'s Quality Management System (QMS) a bonus.
Competent with:
  • Driving Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
  • Application of mathematical principles and/or deployment of statistical analysis to report on Test Performance, Reliability/Warranty analysis
  • Different types of Verification tests (ie Verification by Inspection, Demonstration, Tests and Analysis) and where / when each are best deployed.
Knowledgeable with the concept of Systems Engineering, the application of \xe2\x80\x9cSystems Thinking\xe2\x80\x9d to the design & introduction of new systems/products and can support definition of system & functional systems requirements and requirements flow.

Ability to interpret Test Methods, appreciating efficiencies of automated test systems and potential for environmental influences towards test performance.

Self-motivated, inquisitive and thrive on challenges.

Must thrive on managing projects, independently, in a cross disciplinary team environment, with high degrees of ambiguity.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, required to enable translation and communication of complex technical information, lead technical reviews/presentations to Stakeholders (i.e. Category/Project/Research/Design/Claims/Legal Teams, Heads of Departments, etc.).

Able to quickly adapt thinking and behavior, actioning to changing requirements and situations.

Able to develop clear, efficient, logical approaches to solving technical problems and drive implementation of appropriate design/process changes.

An innate ability to think out of the box a plus.
