Our product management division is growing its Basel regulatory compliance Capital solution lifecycle team. The Product Analyst will collect and consolidate regulatory, clients' and market requirements to facilitate the development of our tailored SaaS solution - Banking Cloud. This solution enables our Clients, generally banks and financial institutions, to efficiently generate regulatory reports. As such, the successful incumbent will need to keep up with regulatory knowledge like Basel III/Basel IV. Having a functional and technical knowledge of our products, you will hold a central role in working with other departments, such as Sales, Implementation Services, and Client Support teams to develop new configurations, deliver, support and improve the Banking Cloud solution. You will also interact regularly with our clients to present our roadmap or to participate in product workshops to elevate a Client's usage of this solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise on the local regulations and reports. Analyse and understand new supervisory regulations (e.g. Basel regulatory texts and reports, and National regulations) and collect requirements for new functionalities.
  • Configure the new SaaS solution: Banking Cloud Credit Risk
  • Prioritize development work.
  • Develop product expertise with RiskAuthority and provide support.
  • Act as a product advisor to assist our Client facing teams during implementation projects, providing level-2 support to customers in production, and Sales teams during Proof-of-Concept activities.
  • Participate in End-to-End testing activities (unitary testing, configuration, results and reports analysis, bug identification and correction)
  • Actively improve our knowledge database (e.g. documentation review, development of “how-to” entries, etc.)
  • Converse with Client IT teams and partner closely with internal engineering teams to analyze and document issues and to convey corresponding solutions
  • Roll out product releases, including training the sales, services and support teams on new features, product pricing, packaging, and positioning.

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in IT and/or Finance.
  • 3-5 years' experience in software implementation projects (gained with either banks, software house, consulting firms or integrators) or software product management.
  • Hands-on IT skills and experiences in any of the scripting languages, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Python, for solution configurations.
  • Basel II / Basel III Credit Risk knowledge preferred. Alternatively, basic understanding on Basel II/III Market Risk or Liquidity Risk, will suffice.
  • Knowledge in any of the following regulations is a plus: CRR / CRR2, COREP, FINREP, BCBS Final BIII, MAS637, HKMA Capital rules, MAS639, EBA FED (not comprehensive).
  • Past working experience/exposure with any of the softwares from the Riskfoundation Suite (RiskAuthority and/or RiskConfidence).
  • Understanding of financial instruments (loans, derivatives, SFTs, securitization).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to speak with business guides and IT
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience participating in all phases of a software development project
  • Ability to investigate and solve technical issues.
  • Proficiency in Asian languages will be helpful.
