As a member of our Singapore highly profiled team, you will have the widest platform and a supportive environment to progress your career across all areas from mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and venture capital to private and public equity offerings. We are seeking to recruit a dynamic Indonesian-qualified Associate to join us, you will be working across a broad range of complex cross-border transactions. This is your opportunity to support the world\'s leading enterprises, emerging start-up companies and financial institutions in their development and investment activities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will deliver exceptional results to clients on a broad range of complex matters including:
• Cross-border M&A (public and private) that includes:
• Inception, planning and due diligence
• Deal execution
• Post-merger integration
• Joint ventures
• Growth by alternatives to M&A

• Private Equity
• Venture Capital
• Conducting research depending on clients\' needs
• Managing deal teams and processes from initial discussions to closing and post-closing matters
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsels and other transactional legal teams
• Assisting clients with ongoing deal administration
• Providing direct assistance to senior lawyers on matters arising in the course of day-to-day to servicing domestic / international clients

ABOUT YOU
We do not set upper or lower limits of PQE for any of our vacancies. We have however given an indicative PQE as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have between 2 to 5 years\' PQE are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role.

• Indonesia bar qualified. Additional bar qualification(s) is a plus
• Experience across Capital Markets, M&A, Venture Capital, Private Equity transactions as well as general corporate matters across a broad range of sectors
• Experience in the Indonesian Markets and working across different jurisdictions and / or with other emerging markets
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesian and English, both written and spoken
• A highly initiative and innovative team player with strong client management and relationship skills
• Commercially astute and stays current on key legal and business news
• Provides a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and responds effectively to requests from internal and external clients
• Builds and develops own network of internal and external contacts
• Awareness of business development initiatives in the department and identifies ways to contribute
• Maintains a controlled, objective and flexible approach under pressure
