Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food for service based on agreed product quality.
  • Supervise to ensure consistency of food execution and food quality control before service/dispatch.
  • Ensure good practices for food storage in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Oversee preparation of deli items and prepare a la minute orders.
  • Manage, maintain and execute expense control, food cost, wastage and quality control based on agreed targets.
  • Manage, apply and ensure workplace safety and food hygiene & safety policies and procedures meet audit requirements.
  • Perform production site and equipment maintenance.
  • Review processes to improve food & process quality, productivity and operation.
  • Liaise with vendors for ingredient ordering, including negotiating on ingredient price/costs, sourcing replacement/substitutes.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Professional Certs/Diploma/Degree in Culinary related discipline would be advantageous.
  • Have good knowledge in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
  • Have good work ethics, initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Working location: Tiong Bahru, Telok Ayer, Neil Road, East Coast.
