Deliver/Facilitate classroom/virtual training and conduct competency-based assessments in accordance to approved training materials and assessment formats
Maintain and keep up to date of one's own body of knowledge relating to care practices in community care settings
Qualifications:
Possess WSQ ACTA or ACLP qualification
WSQ DACE qualification is advantageous but not essential
Possess Healthcare related qualifications such as Nitec in Nursing, Nitec in Community Care and Social Services, Diploma in Nursing, Degree in Nursing, etc.
Some years of work experience in Community Care sector is advantageous
Possess some experience in standup training delivery and facilitation in several of the following areas preferred:
Workplace Safety and Health in Healthcare
Hygiene and Infection Control
Oral Feeding
Patient Transfer with Mobility Aids
Elderly Toileting
Chronic Diseases Management
Measuring and Recording of Vital Signs
Medication Administration
Common Mental Health Conditions
Patient Centered Approach
Activities of Daily Living and Hygiene Practices for the Elderly
Good communication skills and able to relate to learners of various demographics and background
Possess working level IT literacy in operating computers/laptops, LCD projectors, MS Office productivity applications, emails and smartphone applications
