The Company

A first-class opportunity to join a well-respected global real estate investor. Its vertically-integrated fund, investment, development and asset management model has generated a portfolio in excess of $100bn AUM. Despite its scale, the firm advocates agile regional direction-setting that offers structural support, existing and newly-launched flagship Funds combined with an entrepreneurial zest that encourages additional one-off ventures. It now seeks to appoint an Associate within its SEA-focused Transactions deal team.

The Position

Based in Singapore, whilst covering Singapore, Vietnam and other SEA markets, the appointed individual will enjoy an exciting cradle-to-grave position that will include some deal sourcing, underwriting, execution and post-completion asset management within a multi-sector environment consisting of operational asset acquisitions and development deals. Whilst dry powder is available, the entrepreneurial culture also encourages initiation of one-off deals for attractive opportunities that do not meet its Fund mandates supported by asset-specific investor sourcing/pitch presentations. Likely initial focus will be oriented toward the logistics and office sectors in Singapore and Vietnam although alternative markets and sectors will be evaluated. The Associate will hold some coaching/mentoring responsibility for 1-2 Analysts.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree in Real Estate/Finance/Economics and between 6-10 years\' real estate investment experience with advanced financial modelling acumen (a CFA accreditation would be ideal) and sound end-to-end deal cycle and transactional experience. Prior exposure to value-added or development investment strategies, incorporating asset acquisitions and development assets within the Industrial/Logistics and/or commercial office sectors, would be advantageous although experience across other asset types will be considered. Entrepreneurial zest, hunger for success and the ability to operate in a self-motivated manner are essential attributes. Prior exposure to Vietnam-located deals would be attractive although not essential whilst proficiency in various Asian languages may also be desirable.
