Note: This is a 12-months fixed term contract role with Amazon.
Amazon is looking for a Associate Vendor Manager, a pivotal role where our mission is to change the weekly shopping habits of Singaporeans. If you're inspired by a new challenge and making your mark on a rapidly growing business, this position may be for you.
As a Associate Vendor Manager, you will be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon; possess strong negotiation and analytical skills, together with proven commercial knowledge and experience. The ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task is a must, together with excellent project management skills and laser sharp attention to detail. The Associate Vendor Manager must also be an effective communicator, working with some of Amazon most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.

Enjoyment of analytical tasks - working to create different scenarios based on alternative solutions
Comfort managing a wide variety of projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment
Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and operate with limited guidance
Strong commercial and people judgment
Analytical ability to think both strategically and tactically
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel and SQL)
Experience in online retail
Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
