Job Summary:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our market share within the mortgage industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to attract new clients, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive mortgage sales and increased market penetration
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential target segments to optimize revenue generation
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify areas for growth and differentiation
  • Network with external stakeholders (developers, property and insurance agents, corporations, professional bodies and other potential referral agents) to support potential sales referrals
  • To work closely with Product in executing pricing strategy and marketing activities to increase BUC & Resale market share and referral volume through strategic partners
  • To assist sales staff in show flat duty allocation to ensure efficiency in manpower planning in all new launches
  • To assist in weekly/ monthly updates of all new launches and campaigns to senior management
  • To review and approve all new agency and agent admission into DBS panel
  • To update Product and Paraunit on all new project names and uploading into LEAPs before all project launches
  • Ensure sound control and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements particularly regarding documentation and marketing materials to 3rd parties/business partners
  • Achieve high standard of satisfaction and service quality in managing strategic business partners
Requirements
  • At least a diploma or degree holder
  • Strong passion for business development with at least 2 year of experience
  • Preferably with strong network and relationships with industry stakeholders, such as property developers/agents, lawyers and mortgage brokers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective business strategies.
  • Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
