Job Description

What the role is:The officer will be part of a dynamic team who carries out communications and engagement functions to ensure effective and timely communications of MOF\'s policies and initiatives. He/she will co-develop and implement effective integrated communications and engagement strategies including social media strategies and digital marcoms.What you will be working on:

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans across communications and engagement platforms. These include social media, issues management and media management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be part of a team to strategise and grow MOF digital media assets (include MOF corporate social media accounts). \xe2\x80\xa2 Conceptualise, write and copy-edit publicity materials. \xe2\x80\xa2 Transform technical/complex information into compelling concepts/stories and scripts for publicity materials including videos, animation and graphic designs \xe2\x80\xa2 Some basic hands-on design of visual contents

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in mass communication or related fields \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar field \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interest/experience in social media \xe2\x80\xa2 Keen interest in national and public policy issues \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent writing and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-motivated and a good team player \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment and with tight deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic social media content production skills such as graphics is a bonus
