What the role is

Corporate Development Group • Strategy@YR - Strategic & Corporate Planning, Resource Planning, Organisation Development & Staff Engagement and Policy, Research & Analytics • Corporate Services@YR- Finance and Administration • People@YR - Strategic HR, Career Development & Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Recruitment and HR Business Partnerships Requirements • Background from any discipline. • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. • Driven, self-motivated and open to change. • Able to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision. • Team player with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. • Passion in serving the rehabilitation and aftercare sector. Currently, we have the following position available (not limited to the following): Associate/Senior Associate (Partnership-Industry Partnership) You will play a key role in the development and management of industry partnership. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to co-create opportunities for inmates and ex-offenders to enhance their skills and career development, leading to successful reintegration and contribution back to society.
What you will be working on
- Propose potential industries to explore opportunities for long-term career development for inmates and ex-offenders. - Engage industry partners to develop and manage new or existing partnership. - Review, propose and implement engagement plans for industry partnership. - Work closely with industry partners to develop and implement line marketing/engagements, including events, dialogues, profile features and digital contents. - Monitor industry and job market trends and national skills upgrading initiatives to identify opportunities to enhance skills training and career development for inmates and ex-offenders. - Collate and prepare statistical trends and observations to evaluate effectiveness of various partnership and initiatives. - Develop, coordinate and implement inmates’ communications plan and materials to support/complement inmates’ career development efforts.
What we are looking for
- Prior experience in career services or programmes, and/or in social or economic sectors would be advantageous. - Strategic player with strong critical thinking and analytical skills. - Possess drive, initiative and openness to embrace and lead change and deliver results. - Able to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision. - Team player with good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. - Passion in serving the rehabilitation and aftercare sector.
