We are seeking a portfolio management professional to support the company\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio monitoring and reporting processes.

This role offers the unique opportunity to join a fast-growing and dynamic organization in an exciting and newly created role based in Singapore. Reporting to the Finance AVP, with matrix reporting to the Director, Investment Strategy & Business Development, and working closely with other teams and external parties, you will be part of the finance team participating in multiple aspects of the finance process, including portfolio monitoring and reporting.

Role and Responsibilities

• Set up system and processes to streamline workflow and data collection and monitoring process and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date
• Support Investment teams in monitoring individual investments and ongoing performance, particularly for reporting and impairment testing purposes
• Collaborate closely with investment teams to ensure all investment info is kept up to date in software to track targets on financial returns, with summary dashboards and reports including portfolio IRR on portfolio performance
• Assist with preparing board reporting on portfolio
• Run quarterly and annual portfolio valuation; ensure valuation policy and methodology are adhered to/updated as needed
• Build and maintain a model to monitor and forecast cash in/out flow of investments and divestments, including from sale of carbon credits and OPEX requirements
• Monitor capital deployment, allocation and investment run-rate across investment strategies and geographies
• Assist in managing cash flow and support team on capital management options over time, including use of hedges/financial instruments/capital markets as needed
• Support Investment teams on AML/KYC needs
• Support on other areas in finance or ad hoc requirements

Experience and qualifications

We seek to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven environment and are highly motivated, passionate, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior work experiences. Candidates with the following characteristics are highly preferred:

• Degree in accounting, finance, business or other relevant field from a reputable university.
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience working in the finance/ portfolio management/ corporate finance function; private equity/ venture capital/investment firm or similar industry preferred
• Relevant experience managing investment portfolios including valuation and impairment testing and cash flows
• In-depth understanding of financial modelling and financial analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Analytical problem-solver and quantitative skill sets, comfortable with numbers and ability to synthesize data
• Collaborative team player, with aptitude for fast learning and growth; positive work attitude and takes initiative and ownership of tasks
• Experience with system set up preferred.
• Strong work ethic. Demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• High level of professionalism and personal integrity
