What the role is:You will join AGD\'s Cash Management & Payments Branch, under the Financial Operations & Systems Directorate. This branch oversees the central finance operations, covering the electronic invoice (e-invoice) and payment processes and central systems between the Government and its vendors.What you will be working on:Responsibilities: You will be involved in projects to improve and drive greater efficiencies in the public sector procure-to-pay function. You will handle process reviews, system enhancements, stakeholder engagement and project execution. You will also be involved in administering the Government\'s daily payments, as well as providing user support by responding to helpdesk queries from government agency users who use the Government\'s central financial systems. You will be exposed to fast-paced work that requires sensitivity to numbers as you learn about the central processes and systems in relation to e-invoices and payments.What we are looking for:Requirements: Functional/Technical Competencies \xe2\x80\xa2 Tertiary Education in Accounting or Finance \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in managing customers/helpdesk and system knowledge is a plus Generic Competencies \xe2\x80\xa2 High level of initiative with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and good organisational skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to multitask and work independently and in teams \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal skills You will be notified whether you have been shortlisted within 4 weeks from the closing date of this job posting.About Accountant-General\'s Department:The Accountant-General\'s Department (AGD) plays an important role in making Singapore a better place through Finance.
