Asst Manager, Group Procurement (lab)

Job Description
Assist IHH Labs GPO team to 1) develop procurement strategy, 2) implement tender processes, 3) work/negotiate with vendors, 4) identify procurement optimization opportunities, in order to achieve cost savings and improved quality/services. Maintain and analyze procurement data/contracts across the group
Key accountabilities
- Assist in establishing new IHH Labs Group Procurement Strategy and Guidelines (incl. evaluation methodology)
- Co-work with all stakeholders and assist in executing group procurement processes till finalization
- Conduct reagent/consumables purchase price & volume analysis across group to support negotiations with vendors
- Monitor each lab’s monthly reagent usage efficiency by analyzing the purchase/consumption/inventory amount.
- Establish useful group procurement data base utilizing reagent management system (RMS)
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Degree
- 5 years in a strategic sourcing role in procurement
- Procurement related certification such as Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) is an advantage
