Universal Pictures International (UPI) owns and operates direct theatrical marketing and distribution of feature films in many locations around the globe including Austria, Australia, China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, India, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and UK & Eire. In other territories UPI markets and distributes movies through its joint venture offices, as well as in select territories through licensees who are contracted to distribute on UPI\'s behalf. UPI is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.



A key member of the regional marketing team, you will be instrumental in the planning & execution of creative strategies underpinning UPI\'s Theatrical campaigns across the region. You will work closely with home office team in Los Angeles and marketing teams across our region with a clear ambition to deliver best in class creative materials & direction to support advertising campaigns for all UPI titles. The role acts as a key link between Home Office and local marketing teams, acting as a conduit between global creative direction and regional & local nuances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan & execute a regional creative strategy for all the UPI releases, from development of regional creative positioning for UPI titles through to localization of ad materials.
  • Steer creative design & development of all online & offline marketing materials.
  • Guide markets on creative asset selection & optimization on all UPI titles.
  • Implement a creative rollout plan for UPI titles to maximize audience engagement.
  • Oversee the localization and approval of creative materials across the region, ensuring alignment to the title\'s marketing strategy & brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Home Office digital team on developing assets to maximize title engagement across UPI Social, Partner & KOL/Media in the territory.
  • Monitor creative & campaign performance for own & competitor titles.
  • Facilitate standardization of UPI regional social media creative & content guidelines.
  • A subject matter expert for the region, collate & share feedback to help Home Office develop creative assets that effectively market UPI films across the region.
Qualifications

About You:
  • An excellent level of attention to detail.
  • Genuine passion for content & advertising.
  • A creative thinker with knowledge of & interest in diverse cultures & languages.
  • Work well under time constraints.
Basic Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in multimedia, advertising, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in creative services or relevant roles.
  • Detailed knowledge & understanding of creative content development process.
  • Experience working on creative material development for online & offline.
  • Demonstrable experience in management & improvement of creative performance.
  • Demonstrable experience in campaign & project management.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) & presentation skills.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Experienced in management of creative services vendors.
  • Track record of devising and executing innovative creative campaigns.
  • Operational knowledge emerging technologies such as AR, GFX etc desirable.
  • Experience working in media, entertainment or theatrical industry is highly desirable.
