Job Description

Permanent WFH setup Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience on accounting practice i.e. sales invoicing, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, accounts admin and finance reporting.
  • Tertiary Accounting Qualifications - BS Accountancy, CPA license not required but looked upon favorably
  • Experience in MYOB required
  • Knowledge of Australian Accounting, required
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Outlook
Job Responsibilities:
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Raising sales invoice/Accounts receivable management
  • Quarterly preparation of superannuation for employees & contractors
  • Annual PAYG summary lodgment
  • Monthly preparation of cashflow, Accrual accounting and commissions
  • Preparing work of a high quality in an efficient manner supporting the team in an exciting, growing Australian Bookkeeping firm including:
  • Preparing BAS returns & financial statements for Companies
  • Preparing budgets & forecasts and monitoring monthly
  • Preparation of business activity statements
  • Weekly bookkeeping including bank reconciliation, payroll, accounts payable
  • Practice management and ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Preparation of ABA and batch payment documentation, management of accounts payable process
  • Other tasks: preparation of band income distribution, work cover management, Insurance renewals & declarations
Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
