KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overview an Audiometrist is a healthcare professional who works with those who have ear problems including hearing and balance difficulties. They will be assisting in the assessment of hearing loss and related disorders of the auditory system by performing basic audiometric tests.
- Conduct basic audiological assessment.
- Perform otoscopy, Pure Tone Audiometry, Immitance test (Tympanometry and Acoustic Reflex), and Speech test.
- Documentation of audiometric results upon completion of assessment
- Perform hearing aids troubleshooting and decide on appropriate next course of action.
- Assist patients with hearing aid spare-part replacements.
- Perform daily calibration of audiology equipment.
- Facilitate in sending and receiving of hearing aids, cochlear implant, and accessories.
- Attend to ad-hoc assignments assigned by superiors.
- Min 2yrs experience in conducting hearing test & selling hearing aids.
