Opening 2nd Quarter 2023, Pan Pacific Orchard presents the pinnacle of design by award-winning WOHA, located in Singapore\'s prime district Orchard Road.

The 23-floor destination hotel redefines the city\'s landscape with four themed open-air terraces of distinctive design concepts - Forest, Beach, Garden and Cloud.

Nestled amidst the Forest Terrace is new signature restaurant Mosella, which will introduce a sharing concept of Mediterranean cuisine with a refreshing Peruvian twist. The Beach Terrace will bring a resort-like experience to the heart of the city, and above, the Garden Terrace will be home to Florette, the Champagne & Oysters specialty bar. At the highest levels of the Cloud Terrace, level 18 will house Orchard\'s highest pillarless ballroom, Claymore Ballroom.

The Role

Be part of the pre-opening team of PAN PACIFIC ORCHARD, SINGAPORE to redefine the city\'s landscape.

Our Expectations:

The Audio-Visual Technician is responsible in ensuring all functions and events runs smoothly and oversees daily operations of all audio-visual section.

- Responsible for the profitability through generation of revenue, implementing cost saving measures and efficient deployment of manpower and equipment.
- Enhance efficiency through better utilization of technology and new products in the audio-visual field.
- Responsible for the placement of orders for purchase or rental of equipment.
- Preparation of duty roster and requisition of part-time staff.
- Responsible for training of part-time staff, calling of part-time staff if needed and supervise them on operation.
- Monitor the upkeep of equipment to prevent breakdown and depreciation of equipment.
- Check and service audio visual equipment in all Food & Beverage outlets (monthly).
- Update latest music for function use.
- Ensure equipment are in good condition and proper set-up for the guest.
- Ensure that equipment sent out of the hotel for repairs or loans are to be documented and ensure the profitability of audio-visual rental equipment.

Talent Profile

We are looking for a self-motivated technician with advanced knowledge of the audio and video equipment in the market. You should have a good eye for image and sound quality and to be able to detect when the equipment is faulty. If you have at least two years of experience in audio-visual sector or hands-on in configuring, setting-up all systems of audio, video and lighting, write in to have a chat with us!
