Job Responsibilities

• Develop audit objectives, plans, and scope by reviewing available information and conducting research

• Help design, implement, and maintain internal audit procedures and risk assessment processes

• Prepare audit findings, write audit reports, and develop recommendations

• Ensure compliance with all applicable plans, policies, and standards

• Ensure accuracy of financial information

• Support team in the audit process to ensure tasks assigned are executed diligently in accordance with the auditing requirements.

• Provide timely update on job progress and follow through assigned tasks to completion.

• Flag out issues to the management timely to proactively seek for resolution. This includes consult when in doubt.

• Produce clear and concise documentation of work done and diligently resolve review points raised by the management.

• Performance of audit fieldwork and internal controls review

• Preparation of draft tax computations

• Drafting and preparation of Financial Statements

• Other administration matters
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field other professional qualification recognised by ISCA. Singapore CA qualification is required.

• 2-3 years’ experience in financial accounting, auditing, or a combination thereof, preferably in public accounting after attainment of CA qualification. Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply.

• Strong understanding of accounting, banking laws, regulations, internal controls, audit theories, principles, and practices

• Familiarity with general accounting practices and techniques

• Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortability working in a collaborative environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Having prior working experience in an audit or accounting firms is an added advantage

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Mature, responsible, adaptable, flexible with good work attitude.

• Ability to exercise objective judgement with strong logical, analytical and critical thinking skills.
