Key responsibilities
As an Auditor you will be working in a project capacity responsible for planning pre-defined audits activities, reviewing internal controls & processes, analyzing the results of data analytics test results and conducting audit tests. Your duties will also include documenting audit issues, preparing audit findings, assisting with drafting closing presentations and audit reports and proposing audit recommendations and following up on outstanding tasks and audit issues.

Key responsibilities

  • execute audit activities aligned with the Audit Working Program and in accordance with Group and IIA standards;
  • participate in the opening and closing meetings with the relevant stakeholders at the commencement of the audit and to discuss observations at the end of the audit respectively;
  • examine the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls and the governance framework and the efficiency of the operational processes;
  • conduct audit tests and report on the results based on evidence received;
  • analyze the results of the data analytics test results with the auditee
  • document the audit work in detail and maintain adequate working papers for each assignment
  • work with the senior auditor and/or the manager in preparing the closing meeting presentation and the audit report, which will include recommendations to Management and suggestions for improving the overall internal control environment;
  • Presenting audit findings and conclusions raised.
  • The Auditor will also participate in the follow up reviews for respective areas to ensure that audit recommendations raised have been implemented by the due date



Key requirements
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in being involved in audits cross functionally, ideally within a global context or across multiple countries and multiple cultures
  • Ability to travel across Allianz Partners Global Markets for two weeks duration ( between 30% to 40% travel in a year)
  • Data Analtyical skills (IDEA, Tableau) preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of Audit Software (Teammate+ (TM+) preferred but not essential
  • IT Audit experience will be an advantage for the role
  • Preference will given to Mandarin speakers. Other Foreign language skills will be an advantage
  • Proven experience in risk assessment for risk-based audits
  • Proficient in using Interviewing techniques and be someone who is curious to further identify, explore and report on areas of opportunity
  • Have previous experience operating in a project methodology
  • Be someone who can communice the right way / time / tone and be able to negotiate with different hierarchies
  • You will be proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Report writting skills
  • Financial Services ( Insurance) experience preferred
  • Experience gained in a Big 4 firm or a large commercial organization
