Job Description
Our esteem client is looking for an experienced engineer to lead in the design, development, commissioning and maintenance of Ship Management System (SMS).
Work location: Benoi
Working hours: 730am to 5pm
Company transport provided.
Responsibilities:
Perform system and architecture design and system integration of Ship Management System with 3rd party systems. Experience in Site Testing and commissioning, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Set to work (STW) and Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT). Perform hardware / software maintenance and troubleshooting, configuration and documentation. Knowlegible in control & instrumentation, and control system design, PLC programming and SCADA software. Familiar with Standard industrial protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, RS422/485, NMEA, CANbus J1939. Knowledge in Python, JSON, Restful, Machine Learning and Data Analytics experience will be an advantage.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Computer, those with other engineering experiences are also welcome. Experiences with system architecture design, system maintenance, and/or networking Ability to work independently under pressure, as well as able to lead a small team Possess good communication skills to communicate with suppliers and customers at all levels Possess good analytical skills and good problem-solving & troubleshooting skills.
