Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a growing bank. They are currently growing their AML Assurance and Policy Team
Title: Assistant Vice President
Department: AML - Assurance and Policy
Responsibilities
- Oversee branch compliance with AML/CFT regulations, drafting and updating internal policies and procedures to align with regulatory changes and ensure effective communication.
- Perform and review assurance testing, analyze results, and propose corrective actions to enhance the organization\'s AML/CFT procedures.
- Identify and respond to emerging financial crime trends, proposing adjustments to procedures and compliance tools to mitigate risk exposure.
- Collaborate across risk disciplines to conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments, develop reporting mechanisms, and propose controls for risk mitigation plans.
- Demonstrate business acumen by providing commercially-oriented advice, analyzing industry trends, and effectively communicating with regulatory authorities on AML/CFT/Sanctions/Tax issues.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AML/Risk management/Control or Quality Assurance Testing.
- Good written skills in English as you will be drafting policies and procedures
- Good communication skills
