RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement key trading strategies that are aligned with organisational objectives.
• Develop the trading plan for Non-China and Non-India business.
• Develop and manage relationships with key contacts in the industry specifically in South East Asia and South Korea market.
• Generate new business by developing new client relationships
• Manage the trading program factoring in strengths and weaknesses of the team. Build, manage and support the team as necessary.
• Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our relationships with them
• Liaise between traffic teams and clients as necessary to ensure smooth transactions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Comprehensive understanding of product, INCO terms, contract terms, transaction flow, and bulk freight to be able to facilitate a smooth transaction.
• Approximately 5 - 7 years\' experience in Thermal coal industry at least 2 of which should have been in a trading role.
• Passion for sales and marketing with a proven track record of success.
• Good technical understanding of the Thermal Coal and related products and markets.
• Logical thinker with strong commercial acumen.
