Job Description


  • Design, develop and recommend changes to the company\xe2\x80\x99s compensation and benefits policies. programmes and processes to ensure alignment with ST Group\xe2\x80\x99s compensation strategy and adhere to relevant legislative requirements
  • Champion and subject matter focal point of Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits processes. Advisor to business leaders, Compensation Partners and HRBPs to ensure smooth implementation of compensation and benefits solutions that fully align with Rewards COE directions and functions/business goals
  • Provide support as required to ensure smooth implementation and execution of the complete annual cycle of performance management, remuneration review and benchmarking exercises for assigned client group/s
  • Work with Compensation Partners and HR Business Partners to implement and maintain Job design analysis, technical Job Evaluation, conduct survey job matching, application of salary benchmarks for assigned client group/s
  • Regularly participate and contribute to HR Operations/ Information Technology meetings to ensure reward programme system functional requirements are properly captured to enable efficient programme delivery across different functions / businesses
  • Develop rewards spreadsheet templates and writes clear policies & guidelines that can be implemented and applied across various sector groups
  • Partners with other HR departments (e.g. business partners, talent acquisition, HR Shared Service, talent management, etc) to implement compensation & benefits programmes and ensure practices are consistent and in alignment with policies to achieve business objectives
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to brief employees on various TR programs. Develop professional rewards communications materials and adapt the communications approach tailored to various audiences
  • Participate/support in due diligence exercises for potential M&A projects
  • Participates in broader Rewards COE community meetings and provides support in other compensation, benefits or global mobility projects as required to promote cross-functional learning and development, balance team workload and enhance overall team productivity

Job Requirements

  • A relevant Degree with post graduate C&B qualifications. At least 5 years of experience with proven technical knowledge and experience specializing in implementation of Rewards programs in a large organisation
  • Expert in Advanced Excel and has a knack of structuring spreadsheets to handle large volume of data in the most efficient manner. Working knowledge on excel macros and visual basic would be an advantage
  • Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Good team player attitude and able to work within a matrix environment
  • Strong project management skills, ability to multitask, plans activities timely and pre-empts HRBP well ahead to ensure timelines are always met
  • Highly numeric, analytical mind with superb attention to detail and excellent statistical skills
  • Pro-active, works well under pressure and a hands-on independent operator
  • Fast learner, has a curious mind with a continuous process improvement mind-set and generates new ideas to improve ways of working
  • Good presence and confident in dealing with senior Corporate office stakeholders
