Job Description
Group Risk Management (GRM) is an independent function responsible for ensuring that risk management practices at OCBC Bank are effective and comprehensive.
GRM builds and drives the Bank's businesses through an integrated risk management approach relying on strong risk analytics to support strategic business decision-making and to create a competitive edge for the Group.
Key Requirements
- Engage stakeholders to drive policy changes to support business growth and provide recommendations on credit policies to ensure the key risks and controls are adequately addressed.
- Review and approval of consumer credit loan products such as mortgage and auto loans, unsecured facilities, wealth product financing.
- Ensure loans are approved with independent due diligence, adhering to regulatory and credit guidelines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to improve end-to-end processes to achieve faster turnaround and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in consumer credit risk and/or exposure to wealth management products
- Experience in portfolio management and data analytics will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge on consumer lending and credit documentation
- Possess good communication and writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Powerpoint
- Proficient in SAS, Python will be an advantage
