About the Department
The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.
Group Finance
We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.

Job Responsibilities
Financial Information Management (FIM) Change Management works across Group Finance to ensure we execute and implement any major changes to our processes and systems. In partnership with our key stakeholders, we work to create excellent business solutions using our deep functional expertise. We aim to protect and enhance Group Finance value through optimizing the use of our system and tools as we implement a controlled Finance architecture.
The candidate will be part of FIM within Group Finance under the Change Management organization structure. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Apply project management methodologies including project plans, risk mitigation, issue tracking and communication plans.
  • Develop business requirements (BRD) through the understanding of technology and operational needs of Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Performance Management functions in the Bank.
  • Work with Finance users in gathering and analyze requirement, identify opportunities for improvement and articulate business requirements into functional requirement
  • Establish strong relationship with Finance users and IT groups in analysis of user requirement; identify opportunities for improvement, articulate business requirements into functional requirement for functional design document and work closely with Technology team (including vendor) in providing end to end solutions that ensure users\' needs are optimally met.
  • Conduct data gap assessment, validation of business calculations, across Finance reports
  • Build narrative and user stories according to key business capabilities
  • Develop dashboards to enable Finance users self-service analytics using Microsoft Power BI
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing and facilitate user testing, documenting test results clearly.
  • Support reporting query, identify issue, analysis & follow up on resolutions
  • Document and provide training to end users with regards to process and systems changes.
  • Review and support post implementation issues coming out from project implementation and come up with areas of improvement for future delivery
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Business/ Computer Science or its equivalent professional certificates
  • At least 3-5 years demonstrated experience as Business Analyst in executing change in Financial Accounting, Regulatory or Risk Reporting
  • Understanding of Data Architecture, Warehouse, Modelling and Business Intelligence
  • Familiarity with change management process & documents
  • Aptitude for system related work, good knowledge of project planning and implementation including requirement gathering, system testing and end-user maintenance
  • Proven business analysis skills, including developing business / functional requirement, user test strategy and test scripts.
  • Proficient in MS Power BI, SSRS (DAX query), Power Pivot in Excel, SQL, and Data Science tools
  • Good analytical and presentation skills, possess drive and initiative, demonstrate effective leadership
  • Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills, possesses drive, initiative and is a self-starter
  • Strong communication skills and superior attention to details
