In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Job PurposeThis position is to manage the regional build for Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) platform.Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation and management of Virtualization based private cloud infrastructure for DBS Bank. Evaluate new products and test cases to ensure infrastructure reliability, performance, security and compliance with bank standards. Drive the product evaluation and execute test cases and establish baseline/standards. Develop architecture and standards for virtualization, automation, orchestration and operations of the private cloud Manage projects related to infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning, disaster recovery and business continuity Work with various towers, like network, storage and DC facility to setup our hypervisors across the region ensuring our standard are met and infrastructure is delivered on time Monitor infrastructure utilization and costs, and drive optimization initiatives Ensure that standards are enforced across the different countriesRequirements Minimum 8 years of in-depth working experience with VMware virtualization environment Minimum 8 years of working experience with x86 hardware and common operating system VMware vSphere certified Certification/experience in alternate hypervisor like Fusion Compute will be an added advantage Knowledge in network configuration, setup is not required but need to be able to trouble shoot configuration issues with network team Knowledge in SAN storage configuration, setup is not required but need to be able to trouble shoot configuration issues with SAN storage team Knowledge on scripting will be an added advantage. Experience working with technology team from different country will be an added advantageCore Competencies Self-motivated and independent Reliable, responsible and dependable in fulfilling obligations Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
