Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will contribute to the sustainability stewardship efforts with the Global Wholesale Banking team, i.e., engaging with the various business units to ensure consistency in implementation of, and compliance to, the Bank\'s ESG policies, in particular, to:

• Provide ESG advisory and guidance to the business units in accordance to the Bank\'s ESG requirements;
• Assess ESG topics relating to the Bank\'s clients and transactions, and provide recommendations to the business units to mitigate the risks;
• Support with enhancing/shaping the Bank\'s sustainability strategy through working with internal stakeholders on various initiatives e.g., Taskforce on Climate Related Financial Disclosures, Equator Principles, ESG data management etc;
• Monitor trends on sustainability issues in the market, including their potential impact on the Bank\'s portfolio and new prospects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ESG or sustainability-related discipline, preferably working directly with/within the finance sector, consulting sector or other ESG fields such as ESG function in corporate.
• Knowledge of key sustainability issues, ESG international standards/principles and best practices and their relevance to the finance sector.
• Effective communication and possess writing skills with clarity.
• Strong team player, with an ability to work independently and proactively and to operate under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working with data sets.
