We are looking for a L3 Senior Engineer, Connectivity and Network Services to join our Team. In your new role, you will be working with a team of highly motivated peers in our Infrastructure and Operations team. You would be required to work closely with technical and business teams to provide networking, technical support and solution recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and manage the global network and connectivity services in an enterprise hybrid cloud environment
• Work with technical and business teams to provide L3 networking technical consultative services and recommendations, and ensure network connectivity availability, performance, and resource capacity
• Maintain and develop technical documentation and standard operational procedures, and ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies and procedures
• Respond and manage incident escalations whilst working closely with various IT operations teams to support and troubleshoot problems and issues that would require after office hours and weekend support
• Plan and participate in disaster recovery tests and exercises

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, with a valid Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent. CCIE certification is preferred
• Minimum 8 to 12 years’ experience in network connectivity services administration, preferably in financial services or investment banking industries
• In-depth knowledge and working experiences in Cloud infrastructure Services, Cloud network connectivity, Next Generation Firewalls as well as Automated Firewall Deployment Systems and micro-segmentation solutions is preferred
• Strong domain knowledge of network design principles, tools and technologies, particularly in WAN, LAN (wired and wireless), Data Centre core network backbone, Cisco ACI, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, firewalls, load balancers, and proxies
• Design and implementation experience in integrating the automation capabilities across traditional and software-defined network/security products
