The Regional Ecosystems team is responsible for identifying, maintaining and deepening strategic partnerships to leverage ecosystem benefits and innovative business models in order to scale consumer banking revenues and profits.We build strategic partnerships and lead strategy formulation for the ecosystems teams in each market, focused on co-creating propositions with partners that meet our customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and help us to accelerate growth. We test, learn and iterate new business and partnership models, deriving insights that help us to uncover new target segments and product gaps. Our tech platform aims to deliver redefine user journeys through deep integration with our partners.Our goal is to make banking invisible, delivering world-class customer experiences hand-in-hand with leading partners throughout DBS\xe2\x80\x99 core markets.ResponsibilitiesRegional partnership strategy and portfolio management

  • Help develop and support a comprehensive regional strategy via ecosystems and strategic partnerships to expand consumer businesses in DBS\xe2\x80\x99 core markets
  • Collaborate with market ecosystem teams and internal stakeholders (product and segment teams) to craft DBS\'s unique value proposition with our partners for our key target segments
  • Source, maintain and grow strategic partnerships that cut across markets, products and business units
  • Work closely with market teams to monitor in-market partnership pipelines, de-bottleneck partnership obstacles and deepen existing partnerships
Strategic initiatives and new growth models
  • Lead and enable market teams in defining innovative partnership solutions and conceptualising and launching new business models with partners
  • Execute selected strategic partnership initiatives, including identifying potential partners, evaluating existing processes and regulatory environments, adapting and refining customer journeys and internal workflows, initiating pilot experiments to validate value propositions, and monitoring results
  • Support cross-product and cross-border projects involving ecosystems workstreams and partners to drive acquisitions, transactions and engagement
Governance
  • Champion ecosystem partnership management governance framework and standard, and ensure alignment and adherence from business units across core markets
  • Collaborate closely with CBG subject matter experts on all matters relating to ecosystem partnership risk assessments and ecosystems partnership management/onboarding
  • Facilitate ecosystem partnership risk assessment discussions, document completion and approvals for new partnerships and periodic reviews
  • Conduct semi-annual Exit/Pivot Assessment with in-country teams to critically review if underperforming partnerships should be discontinued or pivoted
  • Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) on a regional level for existing partners and oversee lodgement of ecosystem partnership documents and legal agreements
  • Continuously educate business units on the importance of governance, share best practices and updates on ESP standards through regular refresher training sessions, ad-hoc reminders and e-Learning initiative etc.
  • Support in-country and regional audits and regulatory inspections relating to ecosystems partnerships
  • Assess new ecosystem partnerships/models following the defined set of criteria and qualification
  • Streamline processes to reduce employee toil and improve work efficiency through rationalization of existing guidelines, automation and digitalisation of manual or recurring tasks etc.
Stakeholder engagement
  • Influence and evolve understanding across the organisation about ecosystems models and strategies
  • Prepare communication with senior management for the following:
  • Updates on ecosystems strategies and projects
  • Tracking of financial performance and key drivers across markets and partners
Requirements
  • Experience with working in complex strategic initiatives across various geographics and pushing through initiatives in a challenging environment
  • Good understanding of consumer banking products and customer acquisition strategies
  • Capable of handling multiple streams of work in different stages (e.g. ideation / partnership management / project execution)
  • Effective stakeholder and partnership management skills, works well with a range of personalities
  • Fluent with data, with a leaning to customer obsession and a good understanding of customer value propositions and smooth user journeys
  • Creative, intellectually curious, persistent and highly collaborative
  • Good to have: experience in governance or risk management
  • Good to have: experience in building something new (e.g., new business or product, of your own or within a company / department)
