Business Function

Lead, manage and control the operation of the team to ensure delivery of efficient and good quality products and services at cost effective prices to internal and external customers, without any compromise to risk control.

Responsibilities

• Processing and/or checking of Trade Finance transactions and respective supporting documents for Export products.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, highlight irregularities and red flag items during processing/authorisation
• Co-operate with team members to achieve daily tasks assigned.
• Timely and accurate execution of work assigned.
• Ability to communicate effectively with external clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure the smooth daily operations of the team by providing advice and approval to resolve \'problem\' cases, and to maintain / further improve the good working relationship with our internal customers.
• Participate on project implementation.
• Help the team to adhere to the risks guidelines
• Lead, motivate, provide guidance and training to staff to ensure business goals are met.
• Escalate to Head of Dept for any exception, problem, error and abnormal transaction identified during processing.

Requirements

• Degree or related Diploma with CDCS Qualified, would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Trade Finance Processing relevant experience, and strong understanding of UCP rules, ISP 98 rules, Anti-Money Laundering Guidelines, and Terrorist Financing and Sanction Regulations.
• Hard-working, self-motivated and a strong team player.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous and detailed oriented.
• Capable to work effectively under pressure and tight deadline.
• Familiar with MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Excel, Words.
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• In depth knowledge in Trade Finance Products / Processes, rules, practices and regulations
• Strong understanding of risk and controls
