Group Risk Management (GRM) is an independent function responsible for ensuring that risk management practices at OCBC Bank are effective and comprehensive. GRM builds and drives the Bank's businesses through an integrated risk management approach relying on strong risk analytics to support strategic business decision-making and to create a competitive edge for the Group.
Job Summary The subject matter expert will be part of the Third-Party Risk Management Team within Operational Risk Management (ORM) department that oversees the Group’s Outsourcing / Third-Party Engagement (OTP) programme. In this respect, the expert supports the Manager in the Group-wide governance of third party and outsourcing risks, implementation of Group-wide policies, ongoing due diligence and monitoring activities to manage the risks arising from OTP as well as to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The expert will need to partner with various stakeholders (i.e subsidiaries, business and line departments in the Bank) to ensure that the Group OTP programme is carried out effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist to drive the OTP programme for the Group
• Prepare reports to Senior management / Board on the Group’s OTP
• Review, analyse and maintain the Group’s OTP register
• Conduct assurance reviews on compliance with Group OTP Policy and Procedures
• Provide guidance, training and advisory to Business Units on the implementation
• Provide guidance on the alignment of the Policy and Procedures across the Group

Qualifications

The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:

• At least 5 years working experience in Third-Party Risk Management, or Operational Risk Management or related experience
• Strong knowledge and background in OTP management will be definite advantage
• Strong inter-personal, presentation and project management skills.
• Possesses positive working attitude with a high degree of initiative and drive
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that is deadline driven and goal-oriented.
• Good team player and works well under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel and PowerPoint
