About the Department

The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.

Personal Financial Services

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical campaigns for UOB Cards and Payments, including Travel Credit Cards and The Travel Insider to meet business targets.
  • Work closely with Product and Usage Partnership teams to:
  • Develop and sustain a marketing strategy roadmap and communications to drive brand awareness, build loyalty, increase customer engagement, and drive card billings and usage.
  • Develop campaigns and communications for product and/or platform promotions to increase New to Card or New to Bank acquisitions.
  • Ensure quality output with effective execution of all marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and audit requirements for all communications
  • Closely track, analyse and report performance of all marketing campaigns to ensure results are on track and optimised.
  • Tap on travel resurgence trends and booking seasonality for positive business impact.
  • Plan and develop content for The Travel Insider to reinforce its proposition and drive scale of UOB Cards as the preferred travel card across the region.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with agency partners and vendors, to ensure marketing communications are timely and adhere to brand strategy and requirements.
  • Digital and Social Media knowledge is essential - with experience in using these platforms for branding, engagement and acquisition purposes, with strong tracking and analysis capabilities.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • At least 5 years of Marketing or Brand Management experience in a financial institution (FI) or direct to consumer business model environment e.g. in FMCG, online marketplaces.
  • Keen understanding of travel industry and/or passion for travel is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will be strategic, creative minded with a strong consumer focus, and experienced in media planning, digital and social media marketing.
  • Good branding/ design sense with business acumen and able to express opinions on creative work.
  • Positive and energetic team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in teams and cross functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Independent and strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing business needs and challenges.
