Corporate Affairs & Communications We handle leading corporate communications, branding and marketing, partnerships, social impact, and other communications with internal and external collaborators.

What impact can you make in this role? You will play a key role in positioning GIC as the leading global long-term investor.
What will you do as an Employee Communications practitioner? Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Employee Communications, the successful candidate will manage employee engagement communications, campaigns and events as well as key leadership communications in alignment with business priorities, to build understanding and awareness of GIC and deepen employee engagement. This includes delivering impactful communications and experiences for key global milestones. You will:
  • Write, edit and conceptualize both reactive and proactive content and inspiring stories from across the business that helps employees get to know and understand GIC
  • Support the broader internal communications plan with content and ideas to tell the GIC story including explaining our culture, values, strategic priorities and our change journey within the organization
  • Partner with key departments to create impactful and relevant content
  • Set strategic direction for key initiatives and projects, and lead on key enterprise-wide milestones, celebrations and activities
  • Help build a clear organization narrative and key messages for employee communications initiatives
  • Manage and optimize GIC\xe2\x80\x99s existing internal communication channels, including the intranet and other digital communications platforms
  • Explore and help to launch new channels, initiatives and ideas to engage employees
  • Provide support to senior stakeholders in the organization including writing on their behalf and supporting on various change programmes with tailored leadership and employee communications, employee engagement initiatives & programmes
  • Look after end-to-end campaign management \xe2\x80\x93 from ideation and briefing through to implementation \xe2\x80\x93 utilizing engaging ways to deliver messages to employees
  • Manage internal collaborators and external agencies on the content creation and timely delivery of key communications activities

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
  • Hands-on experience and a proven track record of delivering engaging internal communications.
  • At least 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in communications disciplines with dedicated internal/employee communications experience, preferably with financial services background.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into communications strategy and plans
  • Demonstrated experience working with and building internal communication channels including intranet and newsletter solutions
  • Great stakeholder management and sound judgment
  • Strong initiative, excellent follow-through and a proactive attitude
