Technology Group
We experiment, design, and lead a 24\xc3\x977 global business where we support core capabilities in asset management, trading, investment operations, and risk management. We deliver secure, reliable, and integrated solutions, and provide insights on new, and emerging technologies.

Engineering and Architecture
You will help to build and sustains strong technology foundations forming the bedrock of GIC\'s digital solutions.

What will you do as an Enterprise Architect?

Develop enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap

• Play an enabling role in the Enterprise Architecture Board by facilitating corporate management level technology and business discussions, planning and decision-making
• Play a driving role in the Enterprise Architecture Working Group to develop and manage enterprise architecture that espouses business-technology alignment and reflects organizational and business goals
• Articulate the next iteration of GIC\'s technology transformation journey and the accompanying multi-year technology roadmap
• Bring stakeholders and partners on-board the technology transformation journey through effective storytelling, communication and change management

Develop and manage architecture artifacts and maintain oversight

• Define enterprise architecture artifacts such as enterprise architecture landscape, business architecture, data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture with respective business and technology teams
• Lead the development and maintain the oversight of governing principles to guide enterprise architecture and technology decision making
• Enable the development and governance of architecture blueprints, standards, and processes

Review project level system architecture

• Enable the Architecture Review Working Group, which comprises various technology domain subject matter experts, to ensure that system architecture and design of new/evolving solutions/products align to enterprise architecture roadmap and blueprints and comply with pre-stipulated architecture principles and technology standards
• Advise project teams on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impact and technology priorities, especially in complex and large-scale projects

Research emerging technologies

• Enable the Technology Working Group to consult on, decide on and upkeep the relevancy of the Technology Standards and Technology Radar
• Enable the proactive research and evaluation of emerging industry and technology trends

What makes you a successful candidate?

• Bachelor\'s or higher Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecting, system integration, project management, software design/development and/or infrastructure design/implementation, with at least 3 years of relevant experience on large-scale financial market applications/platforms
• Proficient knowledge of relevant enterprise architecture methodologies, frameworks, and modelling tools such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, etc.
• Strong communication and inter-personal abilities to influence key stakeholders ranging from C-level executives, MDs, business stakeholders, application architects and subject matter experts
• Familiar with the modern cloud-based and cloud-native architecture, solutions, services and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, etc.
• Preferred to have good knowledge in the domains of financial markets, trading and investment processes, and risk and performance management
